The company Holzwerkstatt (wood manufactory) Weisbach was founded in 2004 as a family handicraft business and has dedicated itself to the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountain) wood art with a keen eye for detail and a great deal of love for it. The workshop is located on the edge of Brünlos near Zwönitz. The still young manufactory Weisbach has a speciality to offer: To stand out from other manufacturers in the region, magnificent candle arches with moving figures form the main part of their products. The carved or turned figures slowly and quietly pass the eye of the beholder and fill the exclusive arches of light with life. Anyone who would like to watch the Three Wise Men, woodworkers or winter children on snowshoes making their way through the woods is warmly welcome in the Weisbach workshop. The way the figures are driven is unique in the Ore Mountain wood art and even protected by patent.

Weisbach Light Candle Arches

The candle arches with moving figures by Weisbach Holzkunst are real little works of art. A festively illuminated arch spans over a vivid scenery, which is decorated with many details, mostly an integrated, illuminated pedestal completes the scenery. Thus a whole miniature world is brought to life: On the "Candle Arch Seiffen Village with Turning Pyramid and Moving Figurines" a scene around the Seiffen church is depicted. The small pyramid is turning while the skiing children are going in circles. The buildings are illuminated from inside. In the likewise illuminated base of the candle arch, miners can be seen working in the mine.
The "Candle Arch Old Town with Arcades and Moving Figurines" is another famous example for the creative design of the Weisbach light arches. The upper area shows the hustle and bustle of a Christmas market, with moving figures and a rotating Christmas pyramid. Shopping is also lively in the arcades below. Most of the figures move around in a circle in the arcades, while some of them serve themselves a mulled wine at the bar or advertise their Christmas tree sales at one of the entrances.

The movement of the figures can be switched on or off by a separate switch - independent of the lighting.

Quality

The ingenious technology of the moving figures makes the light arches of the Weisbach company an extraordinary eye-catcher. The finely crafted and magnificently designed candle arches are made by hand from solid wood, using beech, ash, lime or black pine. For natural protection, the surface is additionally refined with organic wax.
