The family-run company Gerd Protzner Holzkunst from Gornsdorf in the middle Erzgebirge, has been delighting its customers with splendid candle arches and Christmas pyramids for almost 2 decades now. The care for traditional ore mountain wood art is reflected in each of the handcrafted pieces. Gerd Protzner Holzkunst manufactures Christmas pyramids, candle arches and other traditional figures at the highest level.

While the modern world spins faster and faster, Gerd Protzner's pyramids leisurely circle in the candlelight, spreading the contemplative atmosphere of forest landscapes and Christmas stories. Gerd Protzner's electrically operated three- and four-tier Christmas pyramids are truly exquisite objects. The pyramids, made of solid wood, captivate with perfect workmanship down to the smallest detail. The silky smooth surfaces, the different wood tones and the high-quality figures in subtle colors give them an extremely noble character. Tiny fence elements, turned in careful detail work enclose the floors, on which "Christ's birth" or the "forest motif" is depicted. Gerd Protzner's Christmas pyramids are equipped with electric candles and are operated by motors from the company Mörz. The separately packed figures and trees can be placed on the turntable according to your own taste. The high-quality, lifelike hand-carved and hand-painted nativity figures come from South Tyrol, the hand-made palm trees from the Erzgebirge. Some models without figurines can entirely be decorated at your own taste.

The candle arches made by Protzner Holzkunst also have electric candles and show traditional motifs made from filigree fretwork. In addition to the candles on the arch, some hidden lights in the bottom indirectly illuminate the scenery from below.
