The origins of Zeidler’s wood art go back to 1866. The workshops of Zeidler - like many other workshops in the Ore Mountains - initially mainly produced wooden toys, in order to develop new sources of revenue after the decline of the mining industry in this rural region. The appropriate raw materials were all there, directly “on the doorstep”, and the long winters gave time enough for working on wood and developing new forms and objects. The product range of the company expanded continuously.

Zeidler Wood Art GmbH, currently managed by André Zeidler, stands for quality and a successful combination of tradition and modern shapes. Nowadays, the workshops of Zeidler Holzkunst offer a wide product range of high quality objects: This includes traditional Christmas items such as Christmas Pyramids, Candle Arches, Music Boxes and Advent candle holders. In addition, Zeidler Holzkunst creates small furniture, little shelves and other decorative objects with contemporary outfit.

Extraordinary items like the tealight pyramid “Open circuit” also offer the possibility of individual decoration and can be used throughout the year. Especially nice are the atmospheric workshop motifs, such as the Christmas bakery, on pyramid platform in three-dimensional view.
