For 27 years, stunning candle arches have been created by Tietze Schwibbögen in Zwönitz in the German Ore Mountains. Working with wood runs in the family of the company's founder Elke Tietze: Her parents founded a company that produced wooden pet articles such as lovely bird houses. In 1988, it was the daughter that founded today's Tietze Erzgebirgsdesign, formerly known as „Elke Tietze - Erzgebirgische Volkskunst”.
