The name PeWo stands for the turner Peter Wolf's family-run business where a third generation is producing crafts in the typical Ore Mountain way. Smokers in all sorts of variations and the lovely bubbly ball figures are the main parts of the hand made repertoire. For their ball figures, the company was award a special award in the 2008 ‘Tradition und Form’ competition that acknowledges exceptional Ore Mountain craft.

With an amazing richness of detail, the characters of the smokers come alive. Although they all have the same basic form, the details of the different lovely figures are portrayed so well that they the different smokers are distinctively unique. The ball figures also convince with their one of a kind expressions. New figures are added each year to the different series so that everyone will find their favorite animal for sure.
